FAQ’s

How do I enrol?

Simply click on the enquire now links on our web page and complete the form.  We will be in contact with you to discuss care requirements and the book a tour at the centre for a look around, meet the team and answer any questions. We can send an enrolment form for you to complete.  Please note that due to our high-quality early education programs, our centre is a popular choice in the area and there may be a waitlist.  If necessary, we will explain the waitlist process and communication with you regularly about your individual situation.

What do I need to bring?

Children need to bring their own bag to the Centre each day which can be stored in your child’s locker. The following items will need to be included in the bag and clearly labelled:

 

  • Milk bottles and formula/breast milk if required.
    Breast milk should be handed directly to a staff member for appropriate storage and must not be left in your child’s bag. Formula should be measured out (in a formula dispenser or similar) and the appropriate quantity of water in bottles.
  • Security/comfort items.
  • A reusable water bottle filled with water only. This bottle is to be returned home each day for cleaning.
  • Nappy cream if required (with a pharmacy label attached)
  • A complete change of clothes. (For children being toilet trained, please include three sets of clothes and an extra pair of shoes. Please remember that children will engage in indoor/outdoor and messy play and clothes may get dirty).
  • A warm jumper or jacket for cooler weather.
  • A wide-brimmed hat or legionnaires hat.
    (canopy Early Education will provide a bucket hat. Sun hats are required from September to the end of April in line with our Sun Smart policy. Please note that baseball caps do not offer enough protection and are not recommended).
  • The canopy Early Education Belonging Bag.
    (This is provided by canopy).
Will I be charged if I go on holiday?

canopy Early Education maintain competitive daily fees and are applied throughout the year, including public holidays and across family holidays.

Does canopy Early Education close at any time during the year?

canopy is open 52 weeks a year, closing only on weekends and public holidays.

How do I update my direct debit details?

If you need to amend direct debit details for payment of fees, please contact the admin officer at your centre and ask them to send a new ezidebit form.  A link will be emailed to you, simply complete with the new details.
