Welcome to canopy Early Education, where we create spaces for children to learn, grow, and discover together. Our centres provide care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Our curriculum features play-based learning programs, including government-approved Kindergarten programs with the Early Years Learning Framework playing an integral part of our approach to early education. We prioritise fostering secure relationships, forging strong family and intergenerational community engagement, championing diversity, and supporting a culture of continual learning.

0-2 years

Nursery

We know your baby’s earliest emotional, social and physical experiences will directly impact their future resilience and well-being. During their first year, babies develop trust in people and their environment. Without this secure foundation, learning in other areas cannot flourish. Through their strong relationships with children and families, our educators can identify and respond to the individual preferences and personalities of your baby to support them during the discovery of their world. Your baby will experience personalised care, positive socialisation with other babies, flexible feeding, and sleep routines and more.

2- 3 years

Toddlers

As toddlers start to communicate their interests, share their ideas and connect with other children, they develop self-identity and awareness of the world around them. They learn to communicate their thoughts, emotions and intentions. They learn the impact their actions and behaviours can have on others, and how to participate in learning opportunities. Toddlers learn best through play, supported by gentle interactions with educators and other children. Our educators follow the Early Years Learning Framework and reflect on each child’s unique interests and provide opportunities for children to contribute to their own learning and development through play-based activities and participation in daily routines.

4-5 years

Kindy

Children’s social and emotional skills are so important during these years and provide a strong foundation for early literacy and numeracy. Children learn best when they believe that they can. Through a rich combination of play-based and intentional teaching, our programs allow them the freedom to explore their interests and ideas and to contribute to learning and discovery across indoor and outdoor learning spaces. Learning extensions in local communities, accessed via incursions and excursions will help confidence grow everyday and support their transition to Prep and beyond.
