Spreading Joy This Christmas: canopy’s Annual Giving Program
At canopy Early Education, community is at the heart of everything we do. Each year, we’re proud to continue a special tradition that brings our educators, families, and local partners together to make a real difference, the Annual Christmas Giving Program, a heartfelt initiative that shares hope and happiness with women, young people, and children in need.
Through the generosity of our team and families, canopy Early Education and canopy Community have the privilege of supporting three remarkable organisations:
- Women’s Legal Service Queensland
- The Pyjama Foundation
- The Lady Musgrave Trust
This important initiative is made possible through our partnership with the Queensland Community Foundation, whose ongoing support helps connect our giving efforts to those who need them most.
How You Can Help
This Christmas, we invite our canopy families, friends, and local community members to join us in making spirits bright. Together, we can create a season filled with kindness, hope, and love.
You can contribute by:
• Sending wrapped and labelled gifts directly to your local canopy Early Education centre
• Organising a gift collection at your workplace or community group to add to our donation drive
Every gift, no matter how small, makes a big difference to someone’s Christmas.
The Impact of Your Generosity
Your kindness doesn’t just bring smiles—it changes lives. Here’s what some of our partner organisations shared about the impact of your donations last year:
“The Lady Musgrave Trust is Queensland’s oldest charity—supporting young women and children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness for more than 139 years. canopy Early Education has been a dedicated community partner since 2023, providing educational toys to children who have experienced housing and food insecurity. These gifts bring joy, learning, and development opportunities that help bridge the gap of inequity. We are deeply grateful for canopy’s ongoing commitment to helping end homelessness.”
— The Lady Musgrave Trust
“On behalf of Women’s Legal Service Queensland, our sincere thanks for the generous donations of Christmas gifts. Many of the women we support are experiencing domestic violence and financial hardship. Your kindness made sure no child felt left behind at Christmas—many mothers were moved to tears when they saw their children’s joy. Thank you for helping make a difficult time feel a little brighter.”
— Women’s Legal Service Queensland
💚 Together, We Can Make a Difference
The Annual Giving Program is more than a donation drive—it’s a reflection of the compassion and care that defines our canopy community. Every year, your generosity helps create moments of joy, connection, and comfort for families doing it tough.
If you’d like to know more about how you can take part or organise a gift collection, please contact us at info@canopyee.com.au.
